Power outage hits some parts of Ghana

The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) has revealed that some parts of the country are currently experiencing power outage due to what it described as disturbances on its distribution network.

The power transmission company indicated it is unable to tell the affected areas but noted that a considerable amount of power had been lost to consumers as a result of the disturbances on its network.

A statement signed by the Head of Public Relations Department at GRIDCo, Mr Albert Kwesi Quainoo assured that their engineers are currently working on the transmission lines to restore power to the affected areas.
