Bawumia is grateful for your prayers – Samira to well wishers

Samira Bawumia, wife of Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed gratitude to well wishers across the world for their prayers and support to her husband who’s on medical leave in the United Kingdom.
Dr Bawumia accompanied by his wife, left Ghana on Friday, 19th January 2018, for the United Kingdom for, on the advice of his doctors after he reported ill at the office earlier that day and was attended to by his doctors.
It is unclear what the exact condition of the Vice President is.
Dr Bawumia was last seen in public on Wednesday 17th January when President Akufo-Addo had an encounter with the media at the Flagstaff House.
The Second lady, Samira Bawumia took to Twitter to thank all those who have continued to pray and support her husband during his period of ill-health, adding that Dr Bawumia has recuperated and will back home in Ghana shortly.
“My husband @MBawumia and I are grateful to all Ghanaians and well wishers from across the world for your prayers, support and best wishes. He is doing very well and we thank Allah for his grace. He looks forward to returning to work soon.”
