The youth of Awutu Breku in the Central Region have taken to the streets to demand the removal of the Paramount Chief of the area Nai Abokoade Whetey Aygemang Otabil (¡¡¡).
According to the youth, the continuous stay in office of the Chief will worsen the plight of the people of Awutu Breku.
The angy youth who chanted war songs accused the Chief of selling lands belonging to the town, but failed to use the proceeds to bring development to alleviate the plight his subjects.
The youth claimed their chief has insatiable taste for selling lands to the extent that he has sold a parcel of land reserved for cemetery purposes.
The youth indicated that there has not been a single for development project in the area since he was installed as a Chief ten years ago.

Speaking to Oman News the youth charged the Dodze clan who are the King Makers to remove the Paramount chief and replace him.
"Nenyi Otabil and his elders are fighting and so nothing good is happening here. We haven't been able to celebrate our annual festival and we can't continue with this. And so we are appealing to the King makers to remove him and replace him," one of the protesters told Oman News.

Another protester also said, "Our eyes are red and would no longer tolerate the continuous stay of the chief because we're fed up with him. There is no health facility, there is no Senior High School and we can't continue this way."
"We want our town to develop so Nenyi Otabil must go," he added.
