NDC sold Flagstaff House vehicles like biscuit – Kusi Boafo

The Chief Executive Officer of the Public Sector Reforms, Thomas Kusi Boafo has alleged that state cars were sold at cheap prices like biscuit during the Mahama-led administration.

Thomas Kusi Boafo who was speaking to Kessben TV, provided the collated information of all the cars which contained the number of cars, the vehicle model with the Chasis number to identify the cars.

“The cars which arrived on March 15, 2015 were sold at cheap prices within a period of 3 months”, he noted.

According to him, the cost of each vehicle was priced at about $165,000 when the state acquired them but were being sold as low as $2,500 to the extent “a party official who is a teacher, bought 6 cars at a total expected cost of GH¢190,000 but ended up paying GH¢50,000”.

Kusi Boafo said, “the cars were giveaways and the presidency became vehicle transition point for corruption”.

He further mentioned that pastors, chiefs, politicians and the media personnel also bought the low-priced vehicles.

“The leadership of the former government is terribly bad, the former government didn’t help build the nation”, he lamented.

He emphasized on the need for the President, Nana Addo to take a bold step against this menace which is going to be a boot for boot and vowed to campaign against the President if nothing is done about it this.
