Critics of Free SHS policy are enemies of progress- PPP’s Charles Owusu

A Communication team member of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP) Charles Owusu Cole has lambasted critics of the Free Senior High School policy saying such people are enemies of national development.

“I see those criticizing Free SHS policy as evil people and enemies of progress,” he said.

According to him, he is baffled that critics of the policy some of whom are Members of Parliament are predicting it collapse, when the policy he said is going to change destinies.

"If the policy fails it is Ghanaians who are going to suffer so I don’t get what NDC people are saying," he stated.

Speaking on Oman FM's political analysis programme “Boiling Point” Charles Owusu argued that the challenges which has confronted the policy should not be a yardstick for the critics to conclude that the policy will fail.

He expressed the view that there is no initiative in the world which started without challenges and advised critics of the policy to change their posture.

Charles Owusu expressed confidence in the government’s ability to address all the challenges arising out from the implementation of the policy.
