B/A. Minister embarks on familiarization tour

The Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh, has paid a familiarization visit to the Chiefs and the people of Kajeji in the Sene East district.
The visit, which is his first official visit to the district, was to offer the President's appreciation to the people for entrusting him with the highest seat of the land
The three day visit afforded him the opportunity to introduce himself to the chiefs and people in the District as the Regional Minister.
Addressing the Nkomi Traditional Council in Kajeji, Mr. Asomah said President Akufo-Addo’s government will not relent on its effort to deliver on the 2016 campaign promises.
He said the implementation of government major programme such as Planting for Food, One-District-One Factory, Free Education as well as the restoration of trainee nurses allowance speaks volumes about the President's determination to better the lives of Ghanaians.
He urged the Traditional Council to come out with new initiatives and ideas that will help to develop the nation.
Mr. Asoma Cheremeh disclosed that the current administration has paid greater part of the huge debts owed to Health Insurance Service providers stating that this has revived the National Health Scheme which was on the verge of collapse.
The Kyidomhene for Nkomi Traditional Council, Nana Kurunku Sunkwa, commended President Akufo-Addo for restoring hope in Ghanaians by fulfilling a number of his campaign promises.
He called on government to as a matter of urgency to fix all the roads that are in deplorable state to ensure smooth movement of people and goods.
