Family of late NET 2 TV cameraman thank Management of Kencity Media Ltd

The family of late Mohammed Ashley Yakubu, a former employee of the Madina based Net 2 TV has met with the Management and staff of Kencity Media Ltd to express their profound gratitude for the support during the burial of their late son.

“We are here today to express our gratitude and appreciation to the Management and the staff of Kencity Media for the tremendous support we received from you following the death of our brother and a son,” Spokesperson for the family Mr. Adjei said.

The late Mohammed Ashley was one of the seven people who perished recently during a gas explosion at Atomic Junction near Madina in Accra.

The burial ceremony of the former Net 2 TV cameraman was attended by the National Chief Imam and Muslim clerics as well as government officials including Chief of Staff Mrs. Frema Opare.

The Director of Radio at Oman FM, Martin Kwabena Kwakye who spoke on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of Kencity Media Ltd, Mrs. Stella Wilson Agyapong eulogized the late former employee.

“If you saw the caliber of people who attended the burial service then it should tell you the kind of person Mohammed was,” he said adding “late Mohammed Ashley was respectful and very hard working.”

He said “Mohammed came here as a driver mechanic but we gave him the opportunity to utilize his talents and potentials.

Mr. Kwakye added that “late Mohammed Ashley took advantage of the opportunities available and he developed himself to become a carameraman and also video editor before his sudden demise.”

He assured the family that Management of Kencity would soon give all the benefits due to late Mohammed Ashley to the deceased next of kin.
