We'll fence all public schools in Tema-Mayor

The Tema Metropolitan Assembly has announced plans to construct fence wall around all the 36 public schools in the metropolis to ensure adequate security of the students.
The Mayor of Tema Felix Mensah Nii Annang-La disclosed this in an interview with the media after he visited some public schools to interact with children who were being enrolled into primary 1 for the first time.
He noted that these 36 schools are without fence hence exposes the students to all sort of threats.
"In the Restoration Agenda issues of security are clearly captured...So we're going to construct fence wall around all the public schools," he said.
As part of measures to give the public schools a face lift, Mr. Felix Mensah-La said that the assembly is pursuing "Operation adopt a school" policy noting that the assembly will be engaging the industries in Tema for them to adopt a school each.
