The Second Lady Mrs. Samira Bawumia has visited some public schools in the Tema Metropolitan Area and the Ashaiman Municipality to interact with pupils who are being enrolled into primary 1, for the first time.
Mrs. Bawumia and her entourage visited Kotobabi No2 primary and Ramaniya Islamic primary in Tema as well Ashaiman Cluster of Schools.
She was accompanied by the Mayor of Tema Mr. Felix Mensah Nii Annang –La and the Municipal Chief Executive of Ashaiman Mr. Albert Boakye Okyere.
Mrs. Samira Bawumia charged the pupils to take their education seriously by studying and learning hard in order to become accomplished people in society in the future.

“When the teacher is teaching pay attention. When they give you home work you make sure you do it well. You don’t go home and put your books and go and play. You finish your home work before you go and play,” she advised.
The Second Lady also donated some assorted story books to each of the schools she visited.
