Preparation underway in Eyisam for 1 District 1 Factory launch

Preparation is currently underway in Ekumfi Eyisam in the Central Region, where President Nana Akufo-Addo is scheduled to launch the government flagship programme 1 District 1 Factory.

The launch will be followed with a sod cutting ceremony at Ekumfi Nanaben, which is the site for the first Pineapple Factory under the programme is to be established.

Some pineapple farmers who spoke to Oman News indicated their excitement about the project.
