Ashaiman Municipal Assembly Supports TTC To Celebrate Homowo

The Ashaiman Municipal Assembly has donated some assorted food items to the Tema Traditional Council (TTC) to enable them celebrate this year’s annual Homowo.

The items include drinks, maize, cooking oil and an undisclosed amount of money.

The Assembly believes the items would enable the Council to serve their numerous guests during the Homowo.

Speaking to Oman News, the Ashaiman Municipal Chief Executive Mr. Albert Boakye Okyere who was a former assemblyman in Tema explained that he donated the items on behalf of the Assembly to support the Homowo because of the good relationship the council has with him.

He was of the view that the gesture would go a long way to deepen the relationship between him and the Tema Traditional council.

Mr. Albert Okyere pledged the commitment of the Assembly to complete all projects which were started by the previous regime in order to serve the intended purposes.

Tema Mantse Nii Adjei Kraku (II) who received the items expressed the gratitude of the Tema Traditional Council to Mr. Albert Okyere and the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly for the kind gesture.

He appealed to the Municipal Chief Executive to ensure that all projects which were initiated by the previous administration but were not completed are completed to serve the people of Ashaiman.
