Boy Found Dead in a Gutter at Madina

Residents of Redco Flats at Madina in the Greater Accra Region were thrown into mourning Wednesday after discovering the dead body of a little boy in a gutter in the area.

The boy was found dead and naked in a pool of water with his head in-between two block in a gutter, which is close to the Madina Fire Service Station.

It is not clear what exactly caused the boy’s death.

Some residents who spoke to Oman News on condition of anonymity indicated that the dead body of the boy was found by a gentleman who was passing by the gutter around 11am and raised an alarm.

This they said attracted scores of residents to the scene to catch a glimpse of the dead body.

It is not clear whether the boy was killed far way and dumped in the area or his parents are residing in the Redco flats.

The incident has since been reported to the Madina police, but the police are yet to visit the scene to convey the body to the morgue.
