The seven suspects arrested for allegedly taking part in the lynching of the late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama have been remanded into two weeks police custody.
A Cape Coast District Court One presided over by Her Worship, Rita Amoanyiwa-Edusah gave the ruling after the prosecutor ASP Hilarious Avornyo prayed the court to remand the suspects into police custody.
A provisional murder charge was preferred against them.
The defense lawyer for the suspects, George Bernard Shaw did not oppose the request by the prosecution team.
According to the defense lawyer, he is yet to meet with his clients.
