Gov’t To Build Ultra Modern Office Complex for Creative Arts Industry -Minister

Minister for Tourism and Creative Arts, Hon Catherine Abelema Afeku, has announced that the government is about to put up state of the art office complex to accommodate all the organizations under the creative Arts industry to enable them come together as one body to fight a common goal.
Mrs. Afeku stated that when members of the creative Arts are accommodated in one building it would be easy for them to unite and lift high the banner of Ghana.
Hon Afeku disclosed this on Wednesday when members of the Ghana Actors Guild paid a courtesy call on her to introduce their newly elected executives.
She explained that government alone cannot achieve the numerous promises made to Ghanaians without involving the private sector and called on The Actors Guild to showcase the rich Ghanaian culture in their movies.
The sector minister also noted that the country could only overcome the issue of foreign telenovela taking over most channels if actors come together as one and produce very good and quality movies which has our Ghanaian culture and has the tendency to command viewership.
On his part, Vice president for the Ghana Actors Guild Van Vicker assured the minister that the new executives will work hard and bring unity amongst its members in order to fight for one common goal to help improve the creative Arts industry.
