Ken Agyapong’s Mother Laid To Rest

Assin Dompim, the hometown of the Member of Parliament for Assin Central Hon. Kennedy Agyapong was on Saturday, May 20, 2017 the centre of rich tradition and pageantry and attraction as several big wigs of the government stormed there to bid their last respect to late Mary Ntim, mother of the MP.

The funeral of the 76- year -old Mary Ntim popularly known as nee Babai brought together mourners from across the country leading to huge vehicular traffic in the area.

First Lady Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo and Second Lady Mrs. Samira Bawumia as well as Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye and Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Opare were among host of dignitaries who attended the funeral.

Other notable persons were Minister of Government Business and Majority Leader Hon Osei Kyei Mensa Bonsu; Deputy Majority Leader and Minister of Public Procurement Hon. Sarah Adjoa Safo; Interior Minister Hon Ambrose Dery; Deputy Interior Minister Hon Henry Quartey; Transport Minister Mr. Kwaku Asiamah; Deputy Transport Minister Titus Glover, Deputy Communications Minister Hon. George Nenyi Andah; Deputy Minister of Roads and Highway Hon Anthony Abayifa Karbo; Director General of GPHA Paul Asare Ansah; Board Chairman of GNPC Mr. Freddie Blay; Managing Director of GNPC Dr. K. K. Sarpong; former Central Regional Minister Mr.Acquinas Tawiah Quansah and Central Regional Chairman of NDC Bernard Allotey Jacobs.
