Tema Central MP Partners With SKF To Promote timeFootball

As part of his vision to promote sports among the youth, the Member of Parliament for Tema Central constituency in the Greater Accra Region Hon. Kofi Brako in collaboration with SKF, a Swedish company has organized a football tournament to unearth the budding talent within Tema Metropolitan Area.

The colourful tournament, which was dubbed “SKF meet the World,” saw about four female football teams participating.

The teams named after Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange colours displayed their football prowess and brought excitement to the spectators.

The wining team is expected to represent Ghana international female sporting competition in this year.

Speaking to Oman Sports Hon. Kofi Brako, who is also a member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth and Sports, explained that he agreed with SKF to organize the tournament because of his interest in sports.

The legislator, who commended the players for exhibiting their skills, urged them to take their training seriously.

He assured that the Sports Ministry under the able leadership of Hon. Isaac Asiamah is putting in place measures to boost sporting activities in the country.
