Coach Kwasi Appiah to earn 40,000 dollars as salary in Ghana return

The Ghana FA on Tuesday named James Kwasi Appiah as coach of the Black Stars, making him one of the few to have made a return to the position. Appiah, 57, who left the job three years ago, has been announced to begin a new two-year journey from May 1, 2017. However, sources have revealed the ex-defender also has an option to renew for two years after a review of his performance in 2019. According to starrsportsgh.com sources, Kwasi Appiah’s return will see him earn $40,000 as monthly salary. The Ghana FA also will provide the coach a fully furnished apartment as well as an official vehicle. Kwasi Appiah’s major task is to build a competitive national team capable of winning the 2019 Afcon while fancying Ghana’s already difficult chances in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
