The General Overseer of Global Revival Ministries (GRM) Rev. Dr. Ampiah Kwofie has asked President Akufo-Addo to remain focus and persistent in his determination to tackle myriads of challenges confronting the nation.

He noted that with focus and persistency Nana Akufo-Addo will be able to govern and find lasting solutions to the problems facing the country.

Rev. Dr. Ampiah Kwofie

The renowned man of God, who is also the President of Ampiah Kwofie Worldwide Outreach praised President Nana Akufo-Addo for his tenacity and determination in making sure that he realized his dream of becoming President of the Republic.

"Indeed our President has demonstrated to us that with determination and persistency you can actualize your dreams in life," he noted.

President Akufo-Addo first contested for the presidency in 2008, but lost the elections to late President Evans Fiifi Atta Mills in a run off.

He again contested in 2012, but lost for the second time to presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former President John Dramani Mahama.

Nana Akufo-Addo and his party New Patriotic Party (NPP) disputed the results of the presidential election and challenged it at the Supreme Court but the court affirmed the declaration of Mr. John Dramani Mahama as winner by Electoral Commission (EC).

Despite losing elections on two occasions Nana Akufo-Addo didn't give up and contested his party's presidential primaries and was fortunate to be given the nod to lead the party for the 2016 elections.

As luck would have it, Nana Akufo-Addo won the 2016 presidential elections with 5,716,026 votes representing 53.85 % of the total votes cast as against incumbent President John Mahama with 4,713,277 representing 44.40%.

Speaking with Oman FM in an interview on the sidelines of Resurrection Power Conference organized by the Tema community 12 branch of International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Miracle Temple Rev. Ampiah Kwofie described Nana Akufo-Addo as a man of determination.

He urged him to continue to walk on the path that made him to realize his dream in order to achieve his vision for the country.

He called on Ghanaians to put politics behind them and support the president to transform the country for the benefit of all.

Rev. Dr. Ampiah Kwofie stressed on the need for Ghanaians to see themselves as one people and unite behind the government
