About 30 vehicles believed to be part of the over 200 missing state vehicles have been found parked at the residence of the Krowor Constituency Women Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress in Nungua, a suburb of Accra.

The vehicles which include V8, Pick-Ups, Saloon cars and trucks had government registration number plates.

They were parked at the residence of the NDC’s women organizer, which is said to be located behind the Nungua Police Station

Over 200 state vehicles have gone missing following the change in government in last year’s presidential and parliamentary elections.

This development has compelled the Nana Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party government to set up a taskforce to retrieve those missing vehicles.

Speaking to Oman News Thursday a resident who confirmed the discovery of the vehicles, said there was heavy rainfall in the area Wednesday night explaining that the rains forced part of the fence wall of the house to collapse.

“We wake up this morning only to discover that about 30 government vehicles have been parked in the NDC Constituency Women Organizer’s house. We were very shocked.”

Mr. Dadzie told Oman News they have informed the police and the taskforce about vehicles.
