A pressure group affiliated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Coalition to elect Nana Addo and Bawumia (CENAB), has reminded President Akufo-Addo about his numerous campaign promises and charged him to endeavour to fulfill them.

According to the group, Ghanaians have high expectations from him, stressing that it would be a yardstick for Ghanaians to either renew his mandate and that of the party in 2020 elections or not.

CENAB was formed ahead of the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections solely to campaign for the presidential candidate of the then opposition New Patriotic Party Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo -Addo and his Vice, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to wrestle power from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

As part of the New Patriotic Party's victory in the last year's elections, CENAB members on Sunday, January 8, 2017, organized a get -to-together to celebrate the resounding victory chalked by the NPP in the December 7 polls.

Speaking to Oman FM in an exclusive interview, the Ghana Chapter Chairman of CENAB, Kweku Osei Bonsu, underscored the need for President Akufo-Addo to implement his manifesto promises within the next four years.

This, he said, would make it easy for the party to win the next elections in 2020.

"We want to appeal to President Akufo- Addo to do us good by fulfilling all the promises he made prior to the general elections. This is our major concern now because we have the next elections ahead of us.

"Our plan for the next elections is that the NPP will obtain 75% of the total valid votes and leave the 25% for the largest opposition party and the smaller parties to share,” Mr. Kweku Osei Bonsu indicated.

He expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for reposing confidence in Nana Akufo-Addo and voting for him to lead the country in the next four years.

He also commended residents of Tema for voting massively for the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo during the elections.

So far CENAB has branches in Tema, Ashaiman, Kumasi, USA and UK.
