Bishop Prince Hampel
A renowned UK-based Ghanaian man of God, Bishop Prince Harry Hampel, has predicted that there will be a change of government in Ghana during the December 7 polls.
"I'm saying that change is coming," he declared.
Speaking during 'Save Ghana Prayerfest 2016' organized by Oman FM, in collaboration with Tema Council of Churches in Tema, Bishop Prince Hampel, who is the founder of Liberty Global Christian Church, UK told the crowd that God would not fail Ghanaians in their quest for a change in government.

'Save Ghana Programme 2026', which is Oman FM's pre-elections' programme aimed at interceding for the nation ahead of the December polls, brought together seasoned men of God from Tema and beyond.
Hundreds of Ghanaians gathered at the festival to pray for peaceful elections, and speaking at the prayer ground, Bishop Hampel told the gathering that God has heard their prayers and the desire of their hearts.

"I'm speaking as the Oracle of God ...I stand here by the name and the authority that has been invested in me and say that God, who has been with me for over 52 years preaching the gospel around the world in 62 countries in the world, has never failed me and He will not fail me," he stated.

He advised the electorates to value their votes and not to exchange it for petty items such as cloth and food.
He said it would not be prudent for any voter to hand their destiny into the hands of any political party for 1,460 days, representing 4 years, if that party did not have policies to improve on the living conditions of the masses.

"Don't let somebody give you one piece of cloth or Ghc100 to vote for his or her party.
"If you accept it, what he is telling you is that he is wiser than you. After accepting that, you entrust your life into the hands of that person for 1,460 days, and if it is not foolishness, then I don't know what it is," he opined.
Bishop Hampel was worried that majority of Ghanaians were living in abject poverty despite the vast natural resources the country was endowed with.

According to him, not even the US, Canada and Britain could be compared with Ghana in terms of natural resources.
He blamed the hardship of the masses on bad leadership, saying " Ghana has found itself in a state of quagmire because of corrupt leadership."

He indicated that "Ghana is the best country I have seen in the world... but the problem we have is the corrupt leadership.

"God is not foolish to have blessed this country with vast natural resources," he explained.
