Akufo Addo promises residents of Afram Plains a College of Education

The Flag-bearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has promised to be build a College of Education for the people of Afram Plains in the Eastern Region should he be crowned the president of Ghana in the December 7 polls.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo was speaking at Donkorkrom in the Afram Plains North Constituency as part of his 4days campaign tour to his home region.
The former Attorney General said, his vision on the Free Senior High School Education is still very much alive and with the number of people who are expected to be completing SHS in the Afram Plains about to increase because of the free SHS policy, it is important that the people are given at least a tertiary institution hence the decision to build a College of Education for them.
Before addressing the gathering at Donkorkrom, Nana Addo visited the workers and patients of Donkorkrom Presbyterian Hospital where he interacted with the staff and patients of the hospital.
From Donkorkrom, Nana made a stop at Tease.
At Tease, the chief of Tease, Nana Anim Mereku said he is optimistic of an NPP victory come December 7, he however pleaded with Nana Addo to consider the deplorable nature of roads in the Afram Plains area and come to their aid when he becomes the president.
Nana Akufo Addo and his campaign team also visited Maame Krobo and Ekyi Amamfrom all in the Afram Plains North and South Constituencies where he spoke to the people about his vision for the country which includes the one district one factory policy.
