Policy Advisor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Boakye Agyarko has warned President John Dramani Mahama to desist from making distasteful comment about the party and its flagbearer.

According to him, the party had restrained itself from responding to President Mahama’s verbal attacks because of the respect it has for him, but said they would be compelled to expose him and his vice, if he continues to attack the party particularly its flagbearer.

President John Dramani few weeks ago described flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Nana Akufo-Addo as a divisive leader who lacks the leadership skills required to unite the country should he be elected to lead the country.

But speaking on Oman FM’s political analysis programme “Boiling Point” Mr. Boakye Agyarko, who refuted claims against Nana Addo accused President Mahama and NDC of making a deliberate attempt to tarnish the image of Nana Addo ahead of the December 7 polls.

He noted that none of the many allegations being peddled by NDC against Nana Akufo-Addo have so far been proven to be true, saying this is because Nana Addo had not committed any wrongdoing.

“If Nana Addo did wrong in his forty years in public life it would have been made public long time ago,” Mr. Agyarko stated.

Mr. Agyarko claimed that the party was aware of President John Mahama’s nefarious activities but had decided to shield him for some reasons, warning that the party would no longer tolerate any verbal attacks on Nana Addo by him.
