New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya West Constituency in the Central region Nenyi George Andah has called on the electorates in the Volta Region to show love to the NPP for once by voting massively for the party in the upcoming general elections.

He said even though the votes the party obtained from Volta region in previous elections was not encouraging he was hopeful they will realise the victory which is awaiting the party and increase their votes for the party this time around in order to be part of the party's victory.

"I believe Voltarians will increase their votes for the New Patriotic Party this year because we need their contributions to widen the margin of our victory," he said.

The Volta Region which had been christened as World Bank of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) appears to be shredding off that tag and gradually becoming a neutral ground.

The region which used to be a no go area for the opposition New Patriotic Party has now embraced the opposition party following a series of visits by the flagbearer of the party Nana Akufo- Addo and his running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Nenyi George Andah speaking on Oman FM's National Agenda Show, on Wednesday, during a discussion regarding the unprecedented crowds following Nana Akufo -Addo who is touring Volta Region indicated that it is sign of victory for the NPP.

He said it is refreshing that Voltarian have realised that the governing NDC have been very complacent towards Voltarains and begged them to give Nana Addo and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the region an opportunity to serve them and bring massive development and jobs to all Ghanaians in every region.

According to him, the mismanagement of the economy should be everybody's concern because if the country is being destroyed it will not affect one particular tribe, or region but rather all Ghanaians.

"If Ghana is being destroyed it will not affect only the Ashanti's, it will affect Voltarians too," Nenyi George Andah noted.

The NPP PC for Awutu Senya West said the NPP's battle for the presidency and majority of seats in the next parliament still remained the Lord's, and he commended Chiefs and people in the Volta region for being the first traditional rulers to express their displeasure about poor governance style of Mahama administration.
