Koku Anyidoho Needs Deliverance- Osbert Lartey

A veteran journalist and political activist has called on Pastors and Muslim clerics in the country to pray for the Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Koku Anyidoho so he could be freed from his guilty conscience.

“I’m appealing to pastors and Muslim clerics in the country to go on their knees and pray for Koku Anyidoho,”he appealed.

He claimed that Koku Anyidoho is being hunted and tormented by the bad things he used his position as Spokesperson for late President JEA Mills to do and what he is currently doing to those who disagree with the ruling government.

“This guy is very evil. What he did when Mills wanted to appoint the commissioner of CEPS was mindboggling. When he got to know that one of the two persons who were short listed for the position was from the Brong Ahafo region, Koku Anyidoho used his Informer Newspaper and branded him as Kufuor’s in-law and succeeded in making sure that he was not appointed, even though he was the right person for the position,” Osbert alleged.

Osbert Lartey who was contributing to discussions on Oman FM’s National Agenda Show on Tuesday accused Koku Anyidoho of raining insults on those who express disagreements with government on certain national issues.

“Koku Anyidoho behaves as if he is a superior person in Ghana and that when he speaks it should be final. He insults elders, pastors, chiefs and opinion leaders who disagree with NDC government on radio and go scot free,” he stated.

According to him, Koku’s posture and his verbal attacks on members of the opposition New Patriotic Party especially, the party’s running mate Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia exposes the level of his frustration and restlessness.

He chastised Koku Anyidoho for disrespecting the running mate of NPP Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by calling him ‘Mutum Banza’ a Hausa expression, denoting a “useless person.”

He expressed shocked that the acerbic deputy general secretary of the ruling party is still living in a state Bungalow and using state vehicles when he is not occupying any state position.
