The New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya West Nenyi George Andah has assured the people of Awutu Bawjiase of massive developments and employment opportunities if he and the flagbearer of NPP Nana Akufo -Addo are given the nod in the upcoming general elections.

Touching on what he will do if given the opportunity to serve as MP, Nenyi George Andah outlined a number of interventions including the upgrading of the Bawjiase clinic to cater for the health needs of the residents, rehabilitation of the road networks, re-development of Bawjiase market to boost trading activities as well as ensuring that the youth from Awutu Senya West benefit from a revamped Youth Employment Programme under the next NPP administration.

Nenyi George Andah who gave the assurance during a rally at Bawjiase on Sunday accused the incumbent Member of Parliament for the constituency on the ticket of the governing National Democratic Congress Hon. Hannah Serwaa Tetteh of failing the people of Awutu Senya West despite her influence in the ruling government.

He noted that Hon. Hannah Serwaa Tetteh apart from being an MP for two terms now, had been a cabinet Minister under late President Atta Mills and Mahama administration for almost eight years, but had not been able to initiate significant gamechanging development projects to improve the living conditions of the people in the constituency.

"Today most of the road networks in Bawjiase and other places in the constituency are in a deplorable state, our Youth have now jobs and our markets are also in poor state. Meanwhile, we have a Member of Parliament who had been a cabinet Minister for almost eight years and very close to President Mahama. We cannot boast of anything meaningful since we made Hannah Tetteh our MP. And so we have to show her and President Mahama exit this year," he stated.

He promised to offer a leadership of care and initiative development projects to raise the standard of people of Awutu Senya West.

"Under my leadership I will make sure that the bad roads in the constituency are rehabilitated, re-development of the Bawjiase market and upgrading of the Bawjiase clinic. Majority of our people are farmers so I will take steps to boost agriculture in this constituency, "he assured.

The marketing guru and former Chief Marketing Officer of telecommunication giant MTN accused the governing National Democratic Congress led by President Mahama for collapsing almost all the social intervention programmes, which were introduced by the erstwhile NPP administration led by President John Agyekum Kufuor despite the quantum of funds at their disposal.

He could not fathom why President Mahama and Amissah Arthur led administration is so incompetent to development the country and yet asking Ghanaians to give another term in office.

"During the eight years of NPP government, the total money we generated in trading of our gold, cocoa, taxes and loans was 20 billion cedis and we're able to extend electricity to several places, we constructed roads, we provided water for people, we paid teachers and nursing trainee allowances and introduced NHIS, Capitation Grants,Cocoa Mass Spraying and Free Maternal Care. However, for almost eight years NDC had been in office it had generated about 240 billion cedis in taxes and loans but all these social interventions have collapsed under them,"Nenyi George Andah claimed.

He reminded his constituents about the 1millions dollars for each constituency, Free SHS, one District one Factory and one Dam one District policies of the flagbearer of the party Nana Akufo Addo and urged them to vote for him.

On his part, the former constituency chairman of the NDC Lt Colonel (Rtd) Daniel Osadu who has defected to to the camp of Nenyi George Andah urged the people of Awutu Senya West to reject the incumbent Member of Parliament during the December 7 polls.

Lft Colonel Osadu who accused Hon Hannah Tetteh of failing her constituents said it would be disastrous to renew her mandate for another term in office, claiming that things will get worse.

The Acting General Secretary and National Organiser of the NPP, Mr John Boadu thanked the electorate from Bawjiase for turning up in their numbers.

He urged them to give the NPP a chance in the 2016 elections.

He insisted that the NPP Flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo was busy on his campaign to bring change to the life's of Ghanaians and he wasn't going to be distracted by the calls for a debate from President John Mahama.

He asked President Mahama to go and debate Madam Akua Donkor and Ayariga.

Other speakers at the rally were New Patriotic Party Parliamentary candidate for Ofoase Ayeribi constituency Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and popular hi-life artists including Nana Ampadu.
