2 dead in filling station inferno at Dome

At least two have been burnt in an inferno that gutted Maxxon fuel station at Dome, a suburb of Accra.

Richard Asante, 19 and Magdalene Mensah, 24, who are workers of the filling station, were burnt beyond recognition in the incident.

Reports indicated that the fire started around 2 am in the Mart and was in flames for sometime before the Fire officers got to the scene.

The cause of the fire outbreak is immediately not known but reports said investigations are underway to establish the cause of the incident.

The bodies of the deceased have been conveyed to the Police hospital morgue pending autopsy.
