The Member of Parliament for Tema East, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover has indicated that Ghana’s resources will be safe under the custody of Nana Akufo –Addo led government.
He argued that Nana Akufo-Addo is incorruptible and so would never put his hands in the state coffers and steal all the funds in it, and deprive the country of developments.
“Ghana’s resources and funds will be safe under the custody of Nana Addo than President Mahama," he stated.
Titus Glover, who was contributing to discussions on the "Ford Expedition Saga" on Oman Fm's National Agenda Show, on Tuesday, insisted that President Mahama is culpable as far as the Ford Expedition gift was concerned.
He said although the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), which investigated the issue, cleared President Mahama of bribery, his breaching of Ghana's Gift Policy is clear that he doesn't have the moral rights to fight corruption.
According to him, President Mahama lacked the willingness to fight corruption because he is corrupt.
Making a comparison between president Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo , the Tema East legislator, said the difference between the two candidates is that Nana Addo has indicated his willingness to fight corruption by establishing the office of an independent prosecutor if elected, but said President Mahama has rather joined his appointees and are stealing from the state coffers.
Titus Glover who mounted strong defense of Nana Akufo-Addo's incorruptible nature said, "I can vouch for him today and forever" that he is not corrupt.
"He is not greedy. He told me sometime ago that Kwartei I have what I and my family will eat. If I want to make money, I will just put on my suit and my gown and my wig and enter the court premises and I will make my good money."
He appealed to Ghanaians to vote massively for Nana Akufo- Addo in the upcoming general elections for him to become president and save the country from President Mahama and the NDC.
