Former Central Regional Communications Director for Zongo Caucus of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Adams Seidu, has claimed that President John Dramani Mahama's conduct after the demise of President John Evans Atta Mills has clearly shown that he was against his former boss.

He has thus asked the electorates in the Central Region to vote against him in the upcoming general elections.

Seidu Adams, speaking to chiefs and people of Ekrowful in the Ekumfi Constituency during a visit by vice presidential candidate of NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on the second day of his tour of Central Region, indicated that, he recently joined the NPP Campaign team because President Mahama has shown total disregard for late President Atta Mills.

“I feel very sad that President Mahama has shown total disregard for Mills and the people of Ekumfi. In fact, John Mahama would never have been president if Mills had not passed away,” he stated.

He accused President Mahama of being ungrateful by sidelining all the senior appointees of late President Mills’ administration.

The former presidential staffer under President Mills’ administration said instead President John Dramani Mahama had appointed those who incessantly criticized and undermined the former president.

“He has appointed Dr. Ekow Spio –Garbrah, who was a known critic of late President Mills as Minister of Trade and Industry and Kofi Adams, who vowed that he would make sure that President Mills was made one term president as his 2016 Campaign Coordinator,” he said.

“Why would President Mahama make such a move if he was not in support of the vilification and criticisms against Mills by those hem has appointed?” he quizzed.

Seidu Adams vowed to campaign vigorously for the NPP to capture the Ekumfi Constituency seat from NDC.
