Be neutral – Arch –Bishop Charles Enstuah tells EC

The founder of Palace Pentecostal Chapel International Arch-Bishop Charles Kofi Entsuah has called on the Electoral Commission to demonstrate its neutrality by ensuring that this year's elections are organised in a free, fair and transparent manner.

He said the quest for peaceful elections can only be achieved if the EC desists from doing things, which will favour one political party or any of the candidates the elections.

He noted that there was no way of any candidates would challenge the declared should they be done in openness, in all the electoral processes.

"The EC should be neutral and transparent. They shouldn't try and favour party A or B because that would not auger well for this country," he suggested.

Arch-Bishop Charles Entsuah said these at the 60th birthday anniversary thanksgiving service for Mr. Raphael Yaw Yeboah, the Executive Director of Forest Services Division of the Forestry Commission.

Arch-Bishop Charles emphasized on the need to maintain the peace the country is enjoying.

He further underscored the need for all the stakeholders particularly security services to collaborate and do their best to ensure that December 7 poll was peaceful.

He advised the electorates to endeavour to comport themselves during the elections adding "My appeal is that when you finish casting your vote go home and rest and come back around 5pm as stated by the law."

"Ghana belongs to all of us so we should do everything possible to protect it," he advised.

He commended Mr. Raphael Yaw Yeboah for contributing immensely to promote the work of God's Kingdom.

On his part, Mr. Raphael Yaw Yeboah added his voice to calls on the Electoral Commission to ensure that the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections were organized in a free, fair and transparent manner.

He appealed to the Commission to be neutral and not to side with any of the candidates contesting the elections.

He was honoured by the Palace Pentecostal Chapel International with a plaque and citation for contributing immensely to the establishment and growth of the church.
