Prez Mahama will legalize homosexuality in 2017 if.... -NPP Man warns

The Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Kwame Bafo has asserted that President Mahama will pass a legislation to legalize homosexuality in the country, if Ghanaians make the mistake of given him a second term.

He has thus called on the electorates to reject President Mahama's second term bid during the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

"I'm urging Christians and Moslems who form the majority in the country to vote against President Mahama. You don't have to give him another chance to destroy the moral fibre of our country before he exit power. He is dangerous for Ghana," he cautioned.

His comment follows the decision by President Mahama to remit the remaining jail term for two radio panelists Alistair Tairo Nelson and Godwin Arko Gunn as well as Salifu Maase, aka Mugabe host of Montie FM for threatening to kill Supreme Court judges.

Speaking on Oman FM's political analysis programme "Boiling Point" Mr. Kwame Bafo popularly known as "Abronye" argued that President Mahama has proven beyond reasonable doubt by his actions and decisions since he was elected as President in 2012, that with the slightest opportunity he would pass a legislation to back homosexuality.

Ghanaians got the shock of their lives in 2012, when it emerged that one of the world's gay and lesbianism financier Mr. Andrew Solomon was a close pal of President Mahama.

President Mahama acknowledged the contributions of Mr. Andrew Solomon towards him in his book "My first coup d’état."

This revelation coupled with threats by then UK Prime Minister David Cameron to cut aid to Ghana, if the country failed to protect the rights of gays and lesbians sparked fears among Ghanaians with several religious groups calling on President Mahama to resist temptation to pass any legislation backing homosexuality.

Mr. Kwame Bafo, who reminded Ghanaians about these facts, noted that President Mahama had the intention to legalize homosexuality way back in 2012 but because he knew he was going to seek re-election this year he shelved that intention.

"If Mahama wins this year's elections he will do insensitive to Ghanaians from 2017 going. I can bet you that he will not respect Ghanaians anymore."

"What he will bequeath to us as a nation after leaving office is to tell us that he has legalised homosexuality," he added.
