“I feel embarrassed and ashamed to have somebody like Mr. John Dramani Mahama as President of Ghana,” he said.

President Mahama in consultation with the Council of State granted pardon to Montie trio in line with article 72 of the 1992 Constitution.

Two radio panelists, Alistair Nelson and Godwin Ako-Gunn and show host, Salifu Maase of an Accra-based radio station, Montie FM were jailed four months by the Supreme Court on July 27, 2016, for threatening to kill judges of the Court. But their freeing has been condemned by civil society groups and political parties in the country.

“I will go all over the country and campaign against President Mahama because he doesn’t deserve another term in office,” he declared.
