New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Ningo Prampram constituency in the Greater Accra, Mr. Sylvester Tetteh has launched a scathing attack on those endorsing President Mahama's second term bid.
According to the outspoken politician, all the functionaries of NDC and Minister's who endorsed President John Dramani Mahama at the party's campaign launch in Cape Coast at the weekend did so to protect their “illegal wealth.”
He argued that it is only corrupt persons in government who wants the president to continue to stay in office so they would continue to amass wealth and still go unpunished.
“Everyone who endorsed President Mahama is indirectly endorsing his or her stomach. If you here them screaming over the roof top that JM toaso, JM toaso, is all because they want to protect their loots .”
Speaking on Oman FM during a discussion of NDC's campaign launch Sylvester Tetteh said he was not surprised that founder of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Mr. John Jerry Rawlings failed to endorse President Mahama’s second term bid because doing so would mean he support the level of corruption under the watch of President Mahama.
Turning his heat on non frontline politicians who are also endorsing President Mahama, Sylvester Tetteh minced no words by describing them as persons who are only seeking their parochial interest adding they are doing so because of what would go into their stomach.
He said he doesn't see why any Ghanaian in his her right frame of mind would endorse President Mahama to continue in office when corruption has become pervasive under his watch.
Mr. Sylvester Tetteh who accused President Mahama for mismanaging the economy charged Ghanaians to reject President Mahama’s second term bid.
