Dan Botwe’s security men nabbed over robbery

The Accra Regional Police Command has arrested two security officers working in the house of the Member of Parliament for Okere, Dan Botwe, over a robbery incident that occurred at his residence in the early hours of Friday.
The Minority Chief Whip was robbed at gunpoint at his Tema residence.
Mr. Botwe, who is also a former General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) was reportedly held hostage for about 45 minutes by the robbers.
The robbers took away laptops, mobile phones and an undisclosed amount of money.
The attack comes on the back of the murder of former Abuakwa North MP, Joseph Boakye Danquah, by a 21- year old robber who attacked him in his house early this year 2016.
