Rabiu Mohammed undergone successful surgery

Black Stars midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has undergone a very successful surgery after picking up an injury in Kuban Kransnodar's game against Rostov in the Russian Premier league.

Rabiu suffered an interior cruciate ligament in his right knee and damaged the internal meniscus but Oman Sports can confirm that the Black Stars Midfielder was operated on Monday 25th April, 2016 in Russia.

"I have had a successful surgery and I am grateful to God for that. I will like to thank my Club Kuban Kransnodar, my team mate's, my family and all Ghanaians for their prayers and support. Hopefully, I will return earlier than the time the doctor's have prescribed for me" Rabiu said.

Rabiu is expected to be out for 4 months.

Rabiu Mohammed has made 22 appearance and 2 assists for Kuban Kransnodar this season
