Acting Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Michael Osei has urged his players to put behind them the defeat they suffered during their encounter with the New Edubiase football club.
Michael Osei however urged them to concentrate on the upcoming fixture against Hearts of Oak scheduled for Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Speaking to Oman Sports, Coach Michael Osei said "We have to put this defeat behind us and focus on the Hearts of Oak game."
“We all know that matches between Kotoko and Hearts do not follow current form guide and for that matter, each team stands a 50 - 50 chance of winning the 3 maximum points. Hearts of Oak are currently on the 2nd position with 18 points whilst Kotoko are on the 9th position with 11 points. "We are in good shape now and with determination, victory will be ours,” he stated.
“I know it’s going to be a very competitive game so we (Kotoko) need to do our homework very well," Michael Osei added.
