Ekumfi people must vote for NPP- Chairman Bernard Grant

The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Ekumfi Constituency in the Central Region, Mr. Bernard Grant, popularly known as Paapa has made a passionate appeal to the chiefs and people of Ekumfi to give Mr. Francis Ato Cudjoe, the 2016 NPP parliamentary candidate the opportunity to serve them, since the NDC Members of Parliament have failed in championing the development of the area.

He said it is regrettable to note that the people of Ekumfi have been voting for the NDC, since 1992 yet they have not done much to lift the people from abject poverty and deprivation.

“I’m appealing to the people of Ekumfi to vote for Mr. Francis Ato Cudjoe during this year’s election. This is because Mr. Ato Cudjoe is already doing his best by creating jobs for the youth and helping others to get enrolled in schools. The elders say if someone is doing very well that person deserves a push so let’s vote for him so that he can do more,” Mr. Grant appealed.

Speaking in an interview with Oman News Mr. Bernard Grant accused the NDC for taking the people of Ekumfi for granted.

According to him, the NDC has proven beyond reasonable doubt that it is only interested in getting the votes of the people Ekumfi and not to develop the area to improve their living conditions.

Mr. Grant chastised the NDC for abandoning the Ekumfi Constituency after every general election and only resurface when there is going to be another general elections.

“Since 1992, NDC has been winning in this constituency. So they know that whether they develop the area or not the people will still vote for them. That’s why they don’t pay particular attention to this constituency and develop the area,” he pointed out.

Mr. Bernard Grant accused President Mahama of mismanaging the country’s economy which has brought untold hardships on Ghanaians,

He charged the chiefs and people of Ekumfi to vote massively for the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo –Addo to salvage the country from total collapse.

“Nana Addo has promised to make Senior High School free. Nana Addo has also promised to industrialize the country to create jobs for the unemployed youth so we should vote for him,” he stated.
