An Accra High Court has constituted a seven member jury to try Gregory Afoko, the main suspect standing trial for the murder of the New Patriotic Party’s Upper East regional chairman Adams Mahama last year.

The decision came after Gregory Afoko objected to three of the Jurors, prompting their replacement.

All seven jurors have been duly sworn in.

Gregory Afoko and Asabke Alangdi have been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit crime and murder.

Afoko has however rejected the charges of conspiracy to commit crime and murder leveled against him.

His lawyer, Israel Ackah, told the court Tuesday that the evidence given by the State in the case does not incriminate his client.
