A former National Youth Organiser of the People’s National Convention (PNC) Abu Ramadan is convinced that majority of President Mahama’s appointees will go to jail if the NDC loses this year’s elections.
Abu Ramadan is flabbergasted over the level of what he described institutionalization of create, loot and share scheme in the John Dramani Mahama led NDC administration.
He chronicled a number of corruption deals including the Ghc3.6 million bus rebranding scandal as well as the illegal payment of Ghc51 million judgment debts to business man Alfred Agbesi Woyome.
“NDC will for the second time in history go into opposition and the number of people, who will be put before the law courts for causing financial lost to the state will be unprecedented,” he conjectured.
Speaking on Oman FM’s political analysis programme “Boiling Point” Abu Ramadan accused NDC of being complicit in what was popularly known as the Woyomegate scandal.
According to him, NDC administration was deeply involved in the deal explaining that their lackadaisical posture towards the case was what led to Alfred Agbesi Woyome being freed by the Appeals court.
He said although NDC schemed to ensure that Woyome escaped being jailed, other corrupt officials in John Mahama’s administration will definitely not be made to go scot-free, if any of the opposition parties wins this year’s election.
“Any government that comes to power after John Mahama government and fails to prosecutes these corrupt government officials; we will stand up in arms and fight that government,” Abu Ramadan warned.
The enraged former PNC youth leader said NDC has demonstrated that it is in government for their parochial interest, cautioning that “we won’t sit down for the NDC to fool us twice.”
He charged Ghanaians to vote out President John Dramani Mahama during the November 7 polls.
Abu Ramadan explained that President Mahama has demonstrated to Ghanaians that he is incompetent and corrupt and therefore does not deserve to be retained in power.
In what could be described as a mockery of President Mahama, Abu Ramadan said “his (President Mahama) head is dead.”
