The president of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana, Kwbena Yeboah has told Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan to accept responsibility for the club’s poor dismal start in this year’s Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko are yet to win a Premier League game this season, picking up only 2 points out of a possible 12 in what is believed to be the club’s worst start since 1974.

Ace broadcaster Kwabena Yeboah is surprised at the Porcupine Warriors considering the recruitment Duncan did prior to the start of the seaon. He has told the former Hearts of Oak boss to accept responsibility for the team’s poor show.

“He should take the ultimate responsibility because he was the head of the recruitment committee. He picked up the team and it’s his head which is on the chopping block. “He takes credit when the team does well and I think he must be sober to take responsibility at this particular time," Kwabena Yeboah who was the chief commentator for the Africa Union of Broadcasters during the 2014 FIFA World Cup told Kumasi-based Luv FM.

Kwabena Yeboah is unhappy with the attacking machinery of the record Premier League champions.

Kotoko held crises meeting on Monday to find an immediate solution to the team's stuttering start to the Premier League. It is alleged Duncan was told to alter his tactics, whilst the players said the high expectations has kept them under pressure to produce results.

Kotoko will host Sekondi Hasaacas on Friday on match week five of the 2015/16 season and are hoping a win will kick start their season.
