Bishop Bob Okala confirmed dead + video | Okala's last performance

Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng aka ‘Bishop’ Bob Okala is confirmed dead by managing editor of of Koforifua based radio station Bryte Fm.

Bishop Bob Okala was reported to have passed at the Koforidua Hospital this dawn after he collapsed on stage during a show at the Koforidua Jackson park which was sponsored by Joy Herbal Industries Limited.

According to one of the organizers of the event, said the late Bishop Bob Okala was not part of the artiste line-up for the show.

He said the organizers initially tried all that they could to stop him after finding out that the late Bob Okala was not all that fit to perform but he persuaded them hence allowing him to perform due to the cordial relationship between him and the organizers.

Solomom Nuwodu, the Public Relations Officer of Joy Industries confirmed this on Kasapa Fm today when talking to Maame Broni today. This is what the PRO said,

“When he came up we realized that he was not that fit. We didn’t want him to perform but he persisted and said he will perform for only two minutes and so we reluctantly allowed him because of the rapport we have with him. So just as he started performing, he indicated he will not continue the performance anymore and decided to hand over the microphone to the MC. As he stepped forward he collapsed, we then rushed him to the Koforidua Hospital but he was pronounced dead”.
