EC to hold pilot biometric registration on Saturday

The Electoral Commission (EC) is scheduled to conduct a nationwide pilot biometric voter registration exercise on Saturday, March 12.
According to a statement signed by the Deputy Chairman, Operations, Amadu Sulley, "The Electoral Commission has upgraded the Biometric Registration Kits (BVR Kits) for the impending limited voter registration and subsequent registration exercises."
The statement called on political parties and prospective voters in the selected polling stations to participate in the exercise.
The registration will take place in some selected polling stations in all the ten regions.
It will start at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 p.m.
