The General Overseer and founder of the Tema based Anointing Prayer and Evangelistic Ministry Apostle –Prophet Francis Kwadwo Owusu, says Ghana is struggling because a lot of those occupying leadership positions in the country do not fit for such positions.
According to him, it is too obvious that people are occupying positions which they have not been ordained for by God.
“We have given position to people who are not qualified that is why the nation is struggling,” Prophet Kwadwo Owusu stated.
He said a rich nation like Ghana shouldn’t struggle economically if competent and right people had been appointed to manage affairs.
Prophet Kwadwo Owusu, who quoted Revelation chapter 5 to buttress his point, argued that God, who created all mankind, set a standard for us to follow.
“When God even wanted to form government in heaven he chose twenty four competent elders and not just anybody at all,” he noted.
He described as sad that we have gotten to an era where people easily employ crooked means to occupy top position.
What I know, Prophet Kwadwo Owusu noted is that before anybody occupies leadership position he must be somebody who has gone through the mill but that is not what is happening in Ghana.
“You can now pay money to become leader. You can steal to rise to the top. You can kill to become a leader. You can backbite to become a leader.”
Speaking in an interview with Oman News during a revival Apostle Kwadwo Owusu, who expressed worry over the state of affairs in Ghana, described as unacceptable posture of politicians as if they are the elders in the country.
“Being a leader doesn’t make you an elder,” he point out.
He said the country could be returned on track if all Ghanaians particularly those holding political positions will be truthful.
According to him, a lot of those occupying positions have become untruthful because they fear they will lose their job if they dare speak the truth.
Apostle Francis Owusu urged Ghanaians to intensify prayers for the nation to avert tragic accidents being experiencing in some parts of the country.
The revival was attended by host of pastors including the founder of UK based Liberty Christian Church, Bishop Professor Prince Hampel.
