According to DSP Coffie, Ganu left his place and went to his parents at the time when the entire township was in total darkness as a result of power cuts and killed his father George Ganu, who had finished eating and was resting in a sofa.
He then proceeded to slay his mother Madam Abena Ganu who was feeding her grandson.
Her sister Jeannette Ganu, who sensed danger, started running for cover, but the suspect pursued her and severed her head.
