A leading youth activist of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abass Azumah has donated four brand new motorbikes to the Damongo and Daboya constituencies in the Northern Region.

According to the donor, the two constituencies lacked resources particularly transportation for effective campaigning, hence the donation.
Abass Azumah promised to support other constituencies in the region to maximize the party’s electoral fortunes in 2016.

He said the NPP deserved to win the 2016 general elections and thus admonished other party stalwarts to support the party’s campaigns.
Abass Azumah challenged the youth to rekindle their spirit of voluntarism by embarking on door to door campaigns particularly in Gonjaland.
A former NPP Northern Regional Secretary and a member of the regional campaign team, Dr. Clifford Braimah commended Abass Azumah for his kind gesture.
He said the donor was worthy of emulation and asked the beneficiaries to put the motorbikes to good use.
Dr. Braimah anticipated the NPP’ massive victory in 2016 but cautioned against complacency.
Both Damongo and Daboya constituencies Chairmen showed appreciation for the donation.

The NPP Parliamentary candidate for Damongo, Albert Kassim Diwura called for unity and hardwork to wrestle the seat from the governing National Democratic Congress.
He described the donation as timely and appealed to other NPP bank rollers and well wishers to support the campaigns.
Albert Kassim Diwura took a swipe at President John Dramani Mahama for disappointing the people of Gonjaland who massively voted for him at the 2012 general elections.
