The 2016 presidential candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Dr Edward Mahama has vowed to end load shedding, in hundred days after he wins this year’s election.

“I tell you in hundred days of being president I will end ‘dumsor’.You can mark it on the wall.”

Dr Mahama has blamed the load shedding, which has caused the collapse of many businesses leading to several workers being laid off on high level of corruption in government.

“I will end ‘dumsor’ by cutting out the corruption. It is part of that corruption that is eating us up,” he stated.

He added that divisions in the two main political parties – NPP and NDC have made PNC attractive to Ghanaians and that is another reason why he will become president.

Dr Edward Mahama said he is very confident he will win this year’s elections by divine intervention.

According to him, his time to become President of Ghana is now and ‘that is what God has kept him for all these years’.

“God was keeping me because He knew that the country will be on tentacles.”

He hopes that his profession as a medical doctor will help him win.

“When people are sick they go to the doctor…and if you cannot trust a doctor, who can you trust? Let’s remove this government which has brought corruption and dumsor on us,” he stated.
