Alhaji Asuma Banda is a nation wrecker-AFONA

A group supporting the presidential bid of the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwah-Akuffo Addo has lambasted Alhaji Asuma Banda, a former Council of State member for his statement that Nana Addo can never be president of Ghana.

In a statement signed by the Coordinating Secretary Mr. Joseph Otoo, the Ambassadors for Nana Addo (AFONA) minced no words by describing Alhaji Asuma Banda as a nation wrecker.

“We have carefully scrutinized and analysed exactly what the Ahaji said, and we find no wisdom or direction in his statement that would move Ghana forward, nor put food on the table of Ghanaians, who are currently wailing and gnashing their teeth under the incompetent leadership of his bosom friend, President Mahama,” the statement noted.

Our attention has been drawn to the infantile statement made by Alhaji Asuma Banda, a Ghanaian business mogul and a former Member of the Council of State on an Accra-based Television Station TV3, that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo can “never be President of Ghana.

We have carefully scrutinized and analysed exactly what the Ahaji said, and we find no wisdom or direction in his statement that would move Ghana forward, nor put food on the table of Ghanaians who are currently wailing and gnashing their teeths under the incompetent leadership of his bosom friend, President Mahama.

In fact, the directionless, visionless and the level of corruption being created to loot the state coffers by his NDC cronies has destroyed the nation’s economy, including his own Antrak Air, which has been going through difficult times, and he Alhaji Asuma has kept quiet because he is enjoying the collapse economy.

Such a ‘selfish-businessman’ can never speak on behalf of his Northern brothers, who have been deprived of development over the years. One of the corrupt deeds of the NDC including the SADA project which never saw the light of day has vehemently affected the people of the North, yet this Alhaji is watching with one eye, without any comment.

We want to tell the NDC propagandist, Alhaji Asuma Banda that, wisdom is not measured with height, therefore, he has no authority to question the wisdom of Nana Akufo Addo whose level of competence cannot be swept under the carpet by such cheap talks. Ghanaians are tired of sycophants who hide behind political parties and want to carry out an agenda to promote their businesses whiles the poor continue to suffer. Alhaji Asuma Banda, come again..
