Police intercepts 100 guns in Kumasi

The Police in the Ashanti Region have intercepted 100 guns from persons who are not authorized to use it.
Of the number, 10 are AK47 rifles.
The number also includes several pump-action guns as well as local and foreign pistols.
The exercise took place this week but the Police hinted Saturday, saying it was part of a wider crackdown to rid the region of unauthorized arms.
