The Black Stars of Ghana overcame a tough test in Comoros to qualify for the third round of qualification for the 2018 World Cup in Russia .

Razak Braimah 6 -Made a brilliant save from an Abdul Ali shot in the fourth minute and looked a lot more convincing than he has looked in a while. His footwork still needs work though.

Harrison Afful 5 - Looked bright early on in the game as he made runs but his delivery was poor and he faded.Defensively gave Comoros too much room anytime they attacked down his side of the pitch.

Baba Rahman 5- A quiet performance by the Chelsea man as he failed to offer assistance to Andre Ayew down his side and looked sluggish in the few times he was tested defensively.

John Boye 7 -A solid performance from Boye especially as Comoros grew in confidence.

Mensah N/A- The Evian defender limped off after 21 minutes with what looked like a hamstring injury and was replaced by Daniel Amartey.

Mubarak Wakaso 7 - Curled in a sensational opener from a freekick to calm Ghana nerves. His hard running helped stem Comoros but needs to work on his short passing game. Was a tad wasteful at times in possession as well.

Emmanuel Agyeman Badu 6 - Great early run should have led to a goal but he somehow contrived to ballon the ball 12 yards infront of goal.Energetic performance but still seems to be a technical liability anytime he is the team.

Andre Ayew 6- Was denied a headed goal by a great save late in the game but aside that contributed too little on the day.Seemed a bit over enthused with the adulation of the crowd and overplayed simple situations at times.

Jordan Ayew 7- A performance of two halves from the Aston Villa striker. A barnstorming second half capped with a decent goal to seal victory shielded what was a dismal first half.

Solomon Asante 4- Was making little impact before his forced substitution from an injury.

Asamoah Gyan 5- The normally reliable captain endured a poor game. His touch was poor and his movement seemed to have deserted him.Missed a glaring chance after beating the Comoros goal keeper. Not a performance he will want to remember.

Subs- Daniel Amartey 6- Replaced Mensah and partnered well with John Boye at the back. His calm passing from back also provided a new dimension to the team.

Jeffrey Schlupp 7- The leicester man played his best competitive game for Ghana as his pace and strength created several openings for Ghana. A performance he will look to build on.
