Questions have arisen over the use of the Ghana Football Association's share of FIFA's financial assistance project.
Published figures on FIFA's website show that the association has been the beneficiary of almost $2.3million dollars in FIFA assistance since 2011 in various categories of Ghana Football.

The reports show payments of $250,000 and $208,860 to the association labelled as "Bonus" and "Other" respectively in 2014 with no attached line items leading to suspicions as to how the monies were expended by the association.

Payments totalling $750,000 have been made to the association in 2015 with allocations of $140,000 to Youth Football, $90,000 on Infrastructure and $100,000 on men's competitions.

Suspicion has arisen over how the association expends these monies as some of the line items have seen no activity. It is not clear if the money paid for youth football is for league organisation since several juvenile leagues across the country have not been played for over a year.
Oman fm checks at the offices of the Association showed there was no evidence of how money listed for Men's competitions was expended during the just ended league season.
The year 2011 also showed substantial bonus payments of $300,000 to the association with no evidence of how the money was expended by the association.
The report has raised questions about the associations consistent complaints about lack of funds in the face of all these payments that have been made to the association by FIFA.
